Counselling
Using a client-centred approach, my commitment is to provide a safe, respectful and nonjudgmental environment from which you can begin to explore whatever life wounds and present thoughts, feelings, and behaviours may be causing you undo
stress or anxiety.
Drawing from several therapeutic techniques and modalities, including mindfulness, self-compassion, internal family systems, narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, polyvagal theory, EMDR, and hakomi, your therapy may include exploring previously cut-off emotions, self-limiting beliefs, and/or self-defeating behaviours.
I like to think of the counselling process as a therapeutic journey. Together we will
find a therapeutic approach that best suits your individual needs and provides you
with the strength and resources to help you heal, grow, and change in ways that are
congruent with your goals and desires.
